Community Impact
Supporting learning and development opportunities through social projects and immersive volunteering.
Our community projects form a pentagon of interconnected impact.
Parallel Tracks
Community English builds the broader community — connection, belonging, and neighbourhood mapping. Storyteller Formation channels emerging leaders into professional tracks that support wellbeing, sustainability, and work opportunities. Both run in parallel, feeding into each other.
The Foundation — Build community, map the neighbourhood
Free English classes running since 2016 across Medellín's comunas. An immersive CLIL methodology connects language learning with real community contexts, cultural exchange, and social participation. Community English is where people first connect — building the broader network that feeds every other program.
The Track — Entrepreneurs into wellbeing, sustainability & work
The flagship 18-month program transforms community members into confident English speakers and cultural tourism guides. The curriculum integrates CEFR-aligned language with life skills, presentation practice, and real-world guiding. Graduates emerge as bridge-builders — with professional confidence, social networks, and economic opportunity.
Community workshops that extend beyond English language into wellbeing, culture, and environmental stewardship. Three community gardens host 700+ plants and engage 200+ garden volunteers. The workshops create gathering spaces where community members, volunteers, and visitors connect through shared experiences rather than instruction.

Language exchange and impact conversations
Regular community events that bring together participants, volunteers, partners, and neighbours. From cultural celebrations and open days to volunteer appreciation events and graduation ceremonies, each gathering strengthens the social fabric that holds Primed together.
Events serve as visibility moments for the organisation, creating natural entry points for new participants and partners. They also provide real-world practice opportunities for Storytellers students — hosting, presenting, and guiding in English.
Primed's alliance model is built on a simple cycle: support projects, build community, community supports more projects. Each alliance is evaluated against community benefit, mission alignment, and ethical standards. Partners contribute skills, networks, and resources that amplify impact beyond what any single organisation can achieve.
Like an ecosystem, each group plays a different role — but all grow together. The framework is designed so that every partnership strengthens the community's capacity to generate and sustain its own projects.
