Where We Work
Primed's Storyteller Project operates across six chapters in Medellín — San Javier (Comuna 13), Santo Domingo (Comuna 1), Moravia (Comuna 4), Constelaciones (Comuna 3), Compaz, and Termales (El Chocó). Every tour departs from the community it represents. Primed has delivered programs Colombia-wide and supports an international network of alumni, volunteers, and partners.

Community Workshops · By request
Go beyond the tour. Primed community members open their homes and share their skills — a more intimate way to experience daily life in Medellín.
Learn traditional knotting and Colombian artisanal techniques from community members. Take home your own creation alongside the story of the hands that taught you.
Cook alongside a community host and learn the flavours that define Medellín kitchens — arepas, bandeja paisa, regional sauces, and the stories behind them.
Work alongside community gardeners in one of Moravia's urban gardens — 700+ plants grown on the site of a former landfill. Learn about sustainable city farming and community food sovereignty.
Join a structured conversation exchange — you practice Spanish, Storyteller students practice English. Authentic, low-pressure, and the fastest way to build real connections.

Traveller Voices
“The Moravia tour was unlike anything I’ve experienced in Colombia. Walking through the gardens with a local storyteller who grew up there gave me a perspective no guidebook could. You feel the pride of the community in every step.”
Sarah M. — United Kingdom
“We did the Comuna 13 tour and it completely changed how we see Medellín. Our guide shared personal stories of the neighbourhood’s transformation. It’s not a typical tourist walk — it’s a real connection with the people who live there.”
James & Laura — Australia
“Taking the metrocable to Santo Domingo and hearing the story of the community from someone who lives it was incredibly moving. The views were stunning but the human stories were the real highlight. Highly recommended.”
Marco R. — Italy
“I joined the cooking class and homestay — two days of genuine connection. The family was so welcoming, and I learned not just recipes but the stories behind the food. This is what ethical tourism should look like.”
Emily T. — Canada
